FANCY INSTALLATION BY SLAB REGISTERED INSTALLERS?

The Slab Custom Liam gate is perfectly suited for windy regions. Indeed, thanks to its 70x25 mm aluminum louvered slats that this gate allows the wind to pass through while preserving your privacy and security. Its contemporary style is both practical and beautiful at the same time.
Our Aluminium swing gates are available in single or double leaf options depending on the width of the gates. Any designs, sizes and colours which are not in our standard gate section can be configured and priced in our 'Bespoke' section.

  • 3200mm Wide x 1750mm Height (Note, this refers to the pillar to pillar width and height from ground to the top of the tallest part of the actual gate, leaving the hinges. Pillars or posts are expected to be 100mm more than this height. Refer Help Guide). These are standard height gates which are usually delivered in 6 to 8 weeks.
  • Double leaf style - two equal leaves.
  • Includes hinges and hinge cover matching the colour of the gate
  • Supplied complete with accessories. Installation instructions to be downloaded from website.
  • Manual gates comes with colour matching handles.
  • Hinge caps: Made of Aluminium coated in the colour of the gate
  • RAL powder coated with 20-years manufacturer guarantee

Complete your hinged gate system by choosing “Overground or Underground Automation Kit". We add reinforcement to the lower frame of the gates. In case you need the reinforcement to be placed in the middle or upper frame, let us know. If you choose to install your own motor or other brands, select the option – “Use existing / Buy Own”.

Swing Gate Automation Kit if selected includes

  • Pair of swing gate motor 24V for gates upto 400kg with cover
  • 14A Control Board
  • 2 Remote Controls
  • Pair of Safety Sensors
You can switch the motor to manual mode, just in case you need to open or close the gates manually. No battery backups are included and needs to be purchased separately if needed. Please get in touch if you need cabling and ground works diagram for your automated sliding gates.

Swing gates with hinges are to be installed between the pillars or posts.

Aluminium posts are 180mm x 180mm square made of 4.5mm thick Aluminium profiles. They are to be immersed into ground with concrete. Enter the height of the gates to get the price and we will add the additional length needed for the posts. Aluminium posts are powder coated in the same colour of the gates and is supplied with Aluminium top cover, also powder coated in the same shade.

Gates on Brick Pillars

We would recommend minimum 350mm wide reinforced brick pillars to install the gates. They need to be strong and reinforced with concrete at the centre to hold the weight of the gate as well as automation.
Both swing and sliding gates need a clearance of 100mm at the top end of the brickwork for the hinges and guiding accessories.

Delivery is to any mainland UK address in our own truck.There is a standard cost of £75 inc VAT for bigger deliveries and £30 inc VAT for smaller products like pedestrian gates or small fencing. This will be calulated at checkout. Unlike a normal 'courier' our Delivery Team will contact you by phone to arrange a suitable delivery date.  The day before the delivery where possible the driver will be in touch again to give a better indication on the time of your delivery. 

If in the unlikely event there are any damages or shortages to your delivery, please in the first instance call or email us within 48 hours to report this.  Please also take photos of the delivery if possible. 

Automation kits would be delivered seperate as they come directly from the manufacturers.

Our gates can be very well installed behind brick pillars. So if you have strong brick pillars you might not need Aluminium posts.

Aluminium posts are 180mm x 180mm cubes that has to be buried underground. We will add 40cm to length of the post to cater for under the ground burial.

Aluminium posts are supplied in the same colour as the gate with top cover to acheive maximum finish.

Yes. It is easy to do rear side installation if you are hanging the gates to our Aluminium posts. In case you are planning to hang on brick pillars, let us know the width between the two hanging points. .

No. Maximum width of a single leaf is 2.5m, so the total width of double leaf swing gate is 5m. Height can be increased unto 2.25m subject to width. .

Width is the distance between the posts or pillars (hanging points) even if you would be installing the gates behind the pillars or post.Height is the distance from ground to the tallest point of the gate.
