You may choose your sliding gates to be built on roller tracks or free standing with cantilever models. Standard sliding gates comes with track and rollers while the cantilever model are freestanding. If your driveways doesn’t have enough room for the gates to slide in, you may choose the telescopic version with both leaves sliding to same side.
The choice of colours and mechanism which we offer can be personalised using our bespoke service where you can choose many other upgrades.
The sizes which you enter will be used as the total width of the opening, we will adjust the width of the gate if you need Aluminium posts to be included in the quote.
All our gates comes with reinforcement as standard so that you may choose to automate your gate anytime you wish to do so.
Somfy Rolly IO automation is the latest built-in automation available for sliding gates and we offer you 5 year warranty on the motor.
Sliding gates are available in powder coated RAL colour as well as with wooden sublimation, both offering 20 years of guarantee on colour and fabrication.
Manual gates with no automation, comes handle as standard, matching the colour of the gate.

  • 1.Anti-lifting Mechanism
    The guide element of the sliding gate lacquered in the colour of gate acts as anti-lift mechanism for more security.
  • 2.Closing Profile
    The end reception profile blocks the light between the pillar and the gate and allows the gate to be closed perfectly. This acts an additional anti-lift mechanism for added security.
  • 3.Stainless Steel Rollers
    We offer rollers and rails in stainless steel on all our sliding gates
  • 4.Rack Cover
    The rack cover comes in matching shades of the gate and it protects and provides perfect finishing for your gates. They are height adjustable.

FAQs
How does Somfy Rolly IO motor works?

The Somfy Rolly IO is integrated into Aluminium posts and is connected to the rack. The motor is completely hidden inside the post and so it adds on to long life and modern finish. 
What happens next on placing the order?

After you place your order you will be sent an order confirmation from ourselves.  We will pass the information to our CAD team to draw the gates/fence as ordered with all the measuremetns exactly marked. 

This would help you in building the right driveway or pillars needed and be ready before the gates arrive.  You may request to make minor changes if needed at this stage, with written consent. Once the drawing is signed off the order is moved to production and no changes would be accepted.
Who will deliver my product and how?

Our products are large can be heavy and difficult to transport.  We have our own vans to transport them. In special circumstances when the gates or fence is longer than 5m we hire third party courier to deliver the item. There is an additional cost involved in this. 

Once your product is ready for delivery we will CONTACT YOU BY PHONE or EMAIL to arrange a suitable delivery date (they will not just land like a 'normal courier').

When you are contacted you can discuss any delivery requirements (time requests and access restrictions etc).  The delivery drivers also endeavour to call you the day before delivery to confirm and also give you an approximate time of delivery.
Does Slab offer installation services?

We do offer gate, motor and intercom installation services in London, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey and Hampshire.

Delivery is to any mainland UK address in our own truck. Unlike a normal 'courier' our Delivery Team will contact you by phone to arrange a suitable delivery date.  The day before the delivery where possible the driver will be in touch again to give a better indication on the time of your delivery. 

If in the unlikely event there are any damages or shortages to your delivery, please in the first instance call or email us within 48 hours to report this.  Please also take photos of the delivery if possible.
