Electric Sliding Gate Kit - NICE RB400

For Swing and Sliding Gates:

Width: Measured pillar to pillar or post to post. If there are no pillars or posts, the total width of the opening minus 360mm (180mm post on each side) need to be the size you need to enter to get the price. The Aluminium posts of 180mm x 180mm matching the height of the chosen gate is needed for double leaf swing and sliding gates. Aluminium posts are built to be cemented to the ground. We will add the extra length that goes under the ground. Our 180mm square aluminium posts are of premium quality made with 4.5mm thick Aluminium profiles offering stability and support for the gates and automation.

Height : Actual measurement of the gate from ground to the top most point of the gate. This can be along the hinge side for straight and curved down gates but along the centre for curved up gates. For straight top gates please measure along hinge side from ground to the just under the pillar cap (if any). It is recommended to leave a minimum gap of 100mm between top of the gates and the top of the pillar at hinge side. This is to allow room for hinges and cover.

Swing and sliding driveway gates can be installed on brick pillars or 180mm square aluminium posts. Aluminium posts from SLAB are highly durable made of 4.5mm thick Aluminium profile, We add 40cm to length of each posts so your installers have enough to bury them underground.  

In case you are using brick piers then we would advice reinforcing the brick pillars by adding concrete to the centre.

Aluminium posts are powder coated in matching RAL colours and comes with slightly domed post caps . Wooden sublimation is not possible with Aluminium posts.  

Video intercoms are a recommended additions to your electric gates. It is just like keeping the door bell at the gates.You can see and answer the visitor as well as unlock the gates for them. Keypad at the gates allows PIN entry for regular visitors like milkman or gardener. If you have a pedestrian gate with electric latch close to the electric driveway gate, both the gates can be controlled using the same intercom system.  

We install Hikvision video door entry system with keypad to control your automated gates .  This includes the outdoor video calling unit with keypad and 1 indoor 7 inch answering touchscreen

Electric latches, also known as electric strikes, are devices used to secure your pedestrian gates. They are in addition to the traditional lock and key mechanisms to control access electronically. An electric strike latch consists of two main components: the strike plate and the locking mechanism. The strike plate is installed on the post while the locking mechanism is installed on the gate itself.

Fitting charges are under the assumption that the ground is ready for our team to start with the ground works. Any tree root or hedging needs to be cleared prior to installation.  

If there are old gates to be removed and discarded, we might be able to do so at additional cost, depending on the size and weight of the gates.
