Modern Side Gate in Aluminium - Selina

For Swing Sliding & Pedestrian Gates:

Width: Measured pillar to pillar or post to post. If there are no pillars or posts, the total width of the opening, excluding any Aluminium posts. The Aluminium posts are available in width 100x100mm and 180mm x 180mm matching the height of the chosen gate. Both aluminium posts are to be cemented to the ground. We will add the extra length that goes under the ground. 

Height : Actual measurement of the gate from ground to the top most point of the gate. This can be along the hinge side for straight and curved down gates but along the centre for curved up gates. For straight top gates please measure along hinge side from ground to the just under the pillar cap (if any). It is recommended to leave a minimum gap of 100mm between top of the gates and the top of the pillar at hinge side. This is to allow room for hinges and cover.

For Aluminium Posts:

Height: To the top of the post from ground. It is mandatory to leave 100mm gap between the top of the gate and top of the pillar at hinge side. 

Standard width available for powder coated Aluminium posts is 100mm and 180mm for 'Custom' and "Cello' models.

All our gates are supplied with NO posts as standard.  We assume there are brick pillars to hold the gates in place. The standard size Aluminium posts to hang gates is 100mmx100mm thick. Height would be calculated automatically to match the gates. We allow extra length to cement the posts to the ground.  Wooden finish posts would cost 21% more than painted Aluminium posts.  

Laser cutting for inbuilt LED lighting and number engraving is possbile only with 180mm posts.  

Colour of the posts would be same as the colour of the gates. For wooden finish gates, we choose matching wooden finish posts.

Adding Aluminium posts adds the stability and ease of installation as well as gives your driveway gates the beauty it deserves. You may choose to place the posts between the existing brick pillar or behind them. Either way make sure you measure them right.
