Durable sliding gate made of louvred vertical slats. Made of Aluminium, Helen sliding gate from SLAB adds privacy to your front garden and is specially designed for wind prone area. For ease of access, why not automate your gates by adding sliding gate automation kit ?

A modern gate with louvred vertical aluminium infills to enhance your driveways. Our gates are sturdy, strong and is made of 90mm x 50mm, 2.15mm thick frames which accounts to the premium quality that you can get in the UK. Each of our gates are carefully crafted in the UK to your measurements.
Sliding gates allow more room for your cars because they don’t take any space to open. You would need a clearance of twice the width of the gate plus 500mm on the side the gate is sliding while open.
Your gates will be supplied with factory fitted rack if automation kit is selected. Powder coated aluminium gates does not rust or deform under changing weather conditions, so all you need to do is an occasional cleaning with soap and water.

Gates with height more than 1600mm will have an added central supporting bar all the way across the width of the gate.
Gates with width more than 1.5m will have additional vertical central supporting bars.

Complete your sliding electric gate system by choosing the Automation kit from the drop down menu. We will factory fit the rack compatible with the chosen sliding gate motor as standard. If you choose to install your own motor or other brands, select the option – “Use existing / Buy Own”. You need to let us know the motor to be used if you would like us to add the compatible rack to the gate.

Sliding Gate Automation Kit if selected includes

  • Sliding Gate Motor 24V for gates upto 400kg with cover
  • 14A Control Board
  • 2 Remote Controls
  • Pair of Safety Sensors
You can switch the motor to manual mode, just in case you need to open or close the gates manually. No battery backups are included and needs to be purchased separately if needed. Please get in touch if you need cabling and ground works diagram for your automated sliding gates.

Sliding gates are installed behind brick pillars or aluminium posts.

Aluminium posts are 180mm x 180mm square made of 4.5mm thick Aluminium profiles. They are to be immersed into ground with concrete. Enter the height of the gates to get the price and we will add the additional length needed for the posts. Aluminium posts are powder coated in the same colour of the gates and is supplied with Aluminium top cover, also powder coated in the same shade.

Gates on Brick Pillars

We would recommend minimum 350mm wide reinforced brick pillars to install the gates. They need to be strong and reinforced with concrete at the centre to hold the weight of the gate as well as automation.
Both swing and sliding gates need a clearance of 100mm at the top end of the brickwork for the hinges and guiding accessories.

Delivery is to any mainland UK address in our own truck.There is a standard cost of £75 inc VAT for bigger deliveries and £30 inc VAT for smaller products like pedestrian gates or small fencing. This will be calulated at checkout. Unlike a normal 'courier' our Delivery Team will contact you by phone to arrange a suitable delivery date.  The day before the delivery where possible the driver will be in touch again to give a better indication on the time of your delivery. 

If in the unlikely event there are any damages or shortages to your delivery, please in the first instance call or email us within 48 hours to report this.  Please also take photos of the delivery if possible. 

Automation kits would be delivered seperate as they come directly from the manufacturers.

Our gates can be very well installed behind brick pillars. So if you have strong brick pillars you might not need Aluminium posts.

Aluminium posts are 180mm x 180mm cubes that has to be buried underground. We will add 40cm to length of the post to cater for under the ground burial.

Aluminium posts are supplied in the same colour as the gate with top cover to acheive maximum finish.

We offer delivery to UK mainland for £75. .

SLAB gates are fabricated in the UK are delivered in 4 to 6 weeks. We do work in partnership with French manufacturer Kostum and these modern gates has 8 to 12 weeks lead time..
